Annual Business Meeting – TONIGHT, 6pm All Magnify members are invited to an important meeting and a time of celebrating God’s faithfulness. Anyone is invited to attend this meeting, but only current members are allowed to speak and vote. Times for questions and answers are set for May 19, 10:15-10:45am and 4:30pm at Rockford in room 304.
May 20 – Financial Planning Ministries Seminar; Northview Campus. Join us for an opportunity to have trusts, wills, powers of attorneys and medical power of attorneys professionally created at no cost. Email [email protected] if you are interested in attending and are a current attender or member.
Alaska Team Work Projects – the Alaska 1829 team is looking for work projects to help cover the cost of their trip. Please contact [email protected] for additional details.

GLOBAL PARTNERS AROUND THE WORLD
Mitch and Laura Switzer – Africa
With much joy and thankfulness we report that our church continues to be a place that both disciples believers and proclaims the gospel to unbelievers in our city. Sunday service is the highpoint of our week and we thank God for the work that he is accomplishing. We ask that you join with us as our church prays for the Lord to provide another elder/pastor to lead in shepherding the people. The need for the Lord to sovereignly bring Moroccans to salvation is ever present in our lives. Please pray that we would be diligent in sharing and defending the gospel in love with our friends, and that the Holy Spirit would remove the hardness of their hearts. Pray that we would not be discouraged when our friends reject the gospel but that we would be sustained by Christ.
Our weekly routines stretch us and make us grow towards being more and more effective in our work. Part of our routine is continuing to learn Arabic so that we can interact with friends and community in their first language. Mitch is working on starting a motorcycle tourism business that will allow us to have the legal status to live and work in Morocco. This is an exciting season for the Switzers with many wonderful possibilities in the future! Pray with us that the Lord would bless our language learning and the launching of the business. This season has also been especially sweet for us as parents. Our kids, Milo and Norah, are two and one years old respectively. It is a deep joy to love and parent them and to watch them explore and discover the world in their own ways. They are a constant source of craziness, laughter, and messes!
